Terms of Service

Prometheus is a self-improvement application that helps you define your identity, set goals, build habits, track progress, and reflect on your growth. The App offers AI-powered coaching, speech-to-text, and cloud data synchronization.

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential, for activity under your account, and for providing accurate and complete registration information.

• The App offers free and premium tiers. Core features include vision and identity definition, goals, habits, tasks, and manual reflections.
• Premium tiers include AI coaching, speech-to-text, and expanded AI usage allowances. Premium features require an active subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple; we do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

Prometheus's AI coaching is not a substitute for professional advice. It supports personal development and productivity, but does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional when needed.

Machine-learning models may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate content. Use your own judgment before acting on any suggestion.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for an unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the App, its systems, or another user's account.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Transmit harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing content.
• Circumvent subscription requirements or usage limits.
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App.

You retain ownership of content you create in the App. You grant us a limited licence to process that content as necessary to provide the service, including sending text and voice data to AI providers for processing.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect data.

The App's design, code, logos, and content—excluding user-generated content—are owned by Prometheus and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account through Settings. On termination, your right to use the App ends immediately, and we will honour data deletion requests under the Privacy Policy.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROMETHEUS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR PROFITS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for claims related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prometheus, its officers, directors, and employees from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes arising from these Terms or the App will be resolved through binding arbitration except where prohibited by law.
